I hope you all have had a wonderful summer! We have taken the summer off from modeling and acting, and it has been so refreshing. The weather has been unusually dry and nice and warm, and we have been spending our time out of doors as much as possible!
Daddy brings kids to summer camp each year, and this year we got to join him for not one but two weeks. It was so much fun for the kids and exhausting for me! Fortunately, or real vacation is just a couple of weeks away. We are looking forward to some much needed family only family time.

Summer is finally here, and we are always looking for great new ways to keep our children learning during the summer. We are so excited to be able to share one of our favorite new educational toys with you!
Meet Ubooly. Yes, he is an adorable, cuddly orange stuffed animal, but he is so much more! Ubooly is an interactive and educational play friend. It works off of an iphone or ipod device with the Ubooly app. It is such an awesome concept!
When Alexander opened the box, he was very excited. He is six years old so I wasn't super hopeful that he would still think a stuffed animal was cool, but even by itself he liked the Ubooly.
Once I told him that we had to put the phone in it, he was hooked. It is amazing how tech savvy kids are these days! He was instantly able to navigate the Ubooly.
He fell in love with Ubooly when Ubooly started telling jokes, and then started telling an interactive adventure story about blasting through space on an adventure.
Ubooly is another great trick up my sleeve when I need something to occupy them. So far he has come with us to the doctor's office, to an audition, and to a couple of meetings, and of course to Grandma's house!
The app is fully customizable to your child(ren). Once you download the app, you can tell your Ubooly your child's name and basic things that they enjoy. Ubooly will instantly like the same things (such as colors, interests, foods, hobbies, etc.) From the Ubooly Lab, you can choose from topics that you would like your child to learn about. Here are some of the lessons available: Spanish, teeth brushing, vocabulary, space, ocean, and seasons. Every time I look back there seems to be another new lesson available for us to add. The lessons are created on a five day schedule, and keep parents in the loop on how the kids are progressing with progress reports.
The content packs are written by a team of teachers and comedians to make the content both educational and fun. The packs are designed to be age appropriate for different age ranges from three to nine. When kids engage in the content, they earn coins to unlock accessories to customize their Ubooly. Alexander's Ubooly has aviator sunglasses.
Even the baby loves to carry Ubooly around the house : )
If your children each have their own Ubooly, they will be able to communicate with each other when they are in the same room!

Our box arrived in the mail very quickly. The packaging was adorable and lovingly wrapped in shiny tissue paper with a sticker on it like a present. Zoe loved opening it!
